Andy Bey - Experience and Judgment (1974)

While I've compared the size of certain musicians' egos to planetary bodies before, I never expected a musican to actually depict himself as a planet. Apparently the planet Andy Bey is quite a bit like Saturn in that it's surrounded by rings, has several moons in its orbit, and is extremely gaseous.

What confuses me is the silver line coming down from Andy Bey's neck. What the hell is it? Is this a tether connecting the planet Andy Bey to the undoubtedly gigantic body it belongs to? Is it supposed to symbolize the front seam of an invisible shirt? I don't get it.
